Author's Mission

Placed in foster care at an early age....Shuffled between friends, family, strangers....Constantly moving every two years since birth.  A young Tim Hampton lived a painful childhood.  Tim yearned for a loving and stable home.   Finally, Tim was reunited with his biological mother at the age of 13, only to lose her to a tragic and horrific death two years later.  No child should have to endure the pain and suffering Tim experienced as a young child.

Yet despite the adversity he lived, he was still able to complete high school in 1992 and enter college soon thereafter.  In 1995, Tim gained employment with the Texas Prison system.  It was there where he learned about life from a totally different perspective.  Tim also obtained a part-time job as an Adult Crisis/Suicide intervention counselor.   In 2003, having counseled thousands of individuals with a multitude of problems, Tim decided to relocate to Florida in hopes of creating a better life for himself.

Since an early age, Tim yearned to positively impact the lives of those whose path he crossed.  Today, Tim Hampton, 32, and a single father of two, has traveled to cities such as Boston, Manhattan, Tulsa, Seattle, and Atlanta speaking to individuals both young and old.  He speaks about his storied childhood and offers ways to overcome even the most bleak situations to get the most out of life.  With the help of caring individuals and organizations, Tim Hampton hopes to take his message of inspiration to as many U.S. cities as possible.
